Volunteer With UMKA
Help children learn, create, and feel part of a community. UMKA welcomes volunteers who enjoy working with children and want to share their time and skills.
Ways to Help
You may be able to help with:
- Russian or Spanish language activities
- Math or chess
- Reading and storytelling
- Drawing, crafts, music, or theater
- Classroom support and community events
You do not need to do everything. Tell us what you enjoy, what experience you have, and when you are available. We can talk about a role that fits.
What to Expect
Our children’s programs currently take place on Sundays from 1:00–4:00 PM and Fridays from 5:30–7:00 PM in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Volunteer opportunities depend on our current groups and schedule.
Volunteers working with children will need the clearances required for their role. We can explain the process when we speak with you.
Interested in Volunteering?
Send us a short introduction, the activities you would like to help with, and your availability. We would love to hear from you.
