Welcome to UMKA

A Place to Learn, Create, and Connect

UMKA Cultural & Educational Center brings children and families together through language, learning, arts, and cultural activities in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. We welcome families of all backgrounds, whether they want to preserve a language they speak at home, learn something new, or connect with their community.

What We Do

Languages and Culture
Children can explore Russian and Spanish through welcoming, beginner-friendly activities. We celebrate cultural traditions while making room for everyone to participate.

Math and Chess
Our small-group activities give children opportunities to practice problem-solving, build confidence, and enjoy learning together.

Arts and Creativity
Drawing, crafts, and other creative activities encourage children to express their ideas and try new skills.

Community and Connection
UMKA is a place where children can make friends and families can meet, share experiences, and feel welcome.
